Fury was born in the back of my car in a Michael’s parking lot — a moment of overwhelming emotion that refused to wait for a studio. I painted covered in color, letting everything break open at once. This piece carries that rupture, that release, and the pride of creating something powerful in the middle of chaos. Fury is the reminder that some moments demand to be made immediately, exactly where you are.

Artist’s Note
Vibrant Kingfisher was inspired by a photograph that stopped me in my tracks — the colors, the posture, the intensity. It’s part of the Nightshift Series, a collection of more intricate ink works created during quiet, focused hours. Bombay ink, acrylic ink, and fountain ink layer together to build movement, detail, and the luminous color that makes kingfishers so striking.

It is deeply personal, fiercely independent, and created with nearly every medium I own, building a living ecosystem of color, texture, and energy.
